Reoccurring Pattern – from Macro to Micro

Minneapolis artist Eleanor McGough, has exhibited her work throughout the Midwest. Her recent paintings reveal patterns that reoccur through layers of life, from diatoms in pond water and cells in our bodies, to patterns in technology and astronomy. The paintings draw influences from biology, textiles, maps, and geometry in order to convey a kaleidoscope world of interconnectedness.
Eleanor maintains a studio in Northeast Minneapolis and has been a recipient of two Minnesota State Arts Board Grants and a Bemis Foundation Residency.
Burnsville Visual Arts Society’s “Art Fete”

BVAS presents the 30th annual Art Fete, a members’ show consisting of artwork of all mediums from local emerging and professional artists. The mission of Art Fete is to make the visual arts more accessible to our community and to support local artists by providing them with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork.
Children’s Art Festival

The Burnsville Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce the return of the annual Children's Art Festival. This special art exhibit celebrates the artistic talent of youth in our community. Over 100 pieces of artwork created by students in grades one through six from local elementary schools is featured.
Cultural Perspectives – Finding Peace

The mission of the annual Cultural Perspectives series is to celebrate diversity within our community. This year’s theme of “Finding Peace” consists of a series of black and white photographs taken by Doug Knutson and an assortment of pieces featuring the peace crane created by Elisabeth Paper. The exhibit is brought to you by the International Festival of Burnsville and the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.
