The Chameleon Theatre Circle’s “Eurydice” Black Box Theater | January 22 to February 7, 2010 | Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 2:00 PM Eurydice retells the myth of Orpheus from the perspective of Eurydice, his wife. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story. General admission tickets are $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for groups of 8 or more.
An Evening with Sinbad Main Stage | Friday, February 12, 2010 at 7:30 PM Actor and comedian Sinbad will bring his irreverent and thoughtful brand of comedy to the performing arts center this February. Best known for his work in such films as Necessary Roughness, House Guest, First Kid, and Jingle All the Way, Sinbad has also appeared on the hit television show A Different World as well as numerous award-winning comedy specials. Reserved tickets are $37.50.
“The Bite of Burnsville” Main Stage/Upper Lobby | Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 6:00 PM Come for the food… stay for the fun. The annual “Bite of Burnsville” showcases the cuisine of 20 of the areas great restaurants, featuring nearly 40 tasty dishes to sample, as well as beverages, entertainment, and huge live and silent auctions. Entertainment for “The Bite of Burnsville” will be provided by “ComedySportz,” which is improvisational comedy played as a sport! Two teams of actors compete for the biggest laughs while a referee calls the fouls and get suggestions from the audience. All general admission tickets are $40.00 each.
Dakota Valley Symphony’s “Four Choirs Festival” Main Stage | Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 4:00 PM This choral and orchestral performance will feature the choirs from Burnsville, Lakeville North, and Shakopee High Schools combined with the Dakota Valley Chorus performing: Missa Festiva by John Leavitt and other orchestral selections. Reserved tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors, and $5.00 for students.

It seems that every man in Germany, except Theo, now wants to bunk up with her. General admission tickets are $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for groups of 8 or more.
Bill Engvall Main Stage | Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 7:00 PM & 9:45 PM Comedian Bill Engvall returns to the performing arts center for two performances in March. Engvall has been featured in numerous movies, television shows, and comedy specials including the wildly popular “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” franchise. His comedy albums have sold millions of copies. He’s currently filming the movie “Bait Shop” which co-stars Billy Ray Cyrus. Engvall’s performances here last January sold out, so make sure to get your tickets right away! Reserved tickets are $47.75 each.
The Chameleon Theatre Circle’s “Suburb” Black Box Theater | April 9 to May 2, 2010 | Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 2:00 PM For all the books, movies, and sitcoms that have either eulogized or vilified them, the suburbs have been largely ignored by musical theater -- until now. Suburb is a musical that takes an insightful, witty, and nuanced view of the world of the lawnmower, the barbecue, and the mall, exploring Suburb’s rites and rituals with a four-person chorus and four main characters. General admission tickets are $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for groups of 8 or more.
Sewell Ballet Main Stage | Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 7:00 PM Envision Academy of the Arts will bring the award winning James Sewell Ballet to the Burnsville Performing Arts Center for a performance this April. Reserved tickets are $25.00 and $15.00 for adults, $20.00 and $10.00 for students and seniors.
Dakota Valley Symphony’s “A Rising Star” Main Stage | Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM This orchestral performance will feature the winner(s) of the Dakota Valley Symphony’s Third Annual Young Artists’ Competition performing: Merry Wives of Windsor Overture by Nicolai and Symphony Number 2 by Tchaikovsky. Reserved tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors, and $5.00 for students.
Envision Academy’s “Side Show” Main Stage | Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 7:00 PM & Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM The Burnsville Performing Arts Center’s performing arts high school in residence, Envision Academy of the Arts, will continue its season with a performance of the musical “Side Show” written by Bill Russell with music by Henry Krieger. Set in the 1930’s, the story follows conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton on their rise from freaks in a circus side show to famous stage performers. General admission tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors.
Dakota Valley Symphony’s “A Choral Homecoming” Main Stage | Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 7:30 PM Following three concerts at area senior centers, this choral “homecoming” performance will feature a potpourri of your favorite choral music performed a cappella with piano and small instrumental ensembles.
